I needed two washable rugs that I could use in my kitchen to catch spills and avoid people slipping on spills and water brought in from the outside on our linoleum floor. I bought this because it's beautiful, washable, and economical. It came rolled up. It unrolls easily and flattens out well. It is not plush, which I feel is good for my needs. It is stiff and stands up well on its side. That is useful for when I am sweeping the floor. Sand dumps off of it easily. It does slip on the linoleum floor, so it needs a rug pad. The inexpensive rug pad that I bought is also slippery. Oh well. I do like the two rugs I purchased.
