I was very surprised by the quality of this rug. I ordered it for my office as a cushion under the chair to protect the new wood flooring. The color is beautiful. The beige is cooler than shown on the picture, what I love. The rug is very thick and has a soft backing, so no pad needed. I have not had a shedding issue yet. We ended up ordering the 9x12 for the living room ( directly from Overstock ). That one does shed a little, but is equally beautiful and thick.
