This is fairly typical of Coaster products: it's handsome and well designed with a very sleek, modern look. It's also flat-pack furniture, so it's never going to be as sturdy as something that's fully assembled with solid joints. The legs on the table and chairs are a breeze to attach, even for one person, and they're sturdy to sit on, carry around, and manhandle into place a bit, but the fact is that this kind of construction isn't going to last fifty years the way proper joinery will. You get what you pay for, and in this case I'm quite satisfied with it. Of course, I don't have kids roughhousing on it, either.The chairs are very comfortable, and quite light to move around, too, since the seat is padded instead of a hunk of solid wood like some other designs. You do have to eye-ball the placement of the seats on the chair frames, and one of mine came out just a smidge off the ideal angle, but it would be simple enough to un-screw and adjust if it ever really bugs me. Everything arrived in good shape with no scarring or chipping. Do be aware that Coaster sets are only stained, not sealed with something like polyurethane, so the finish *does* scratch fairly easily. On the other side of the coin, a dab of wood/leather dye will make most scratches invisible without any heavy-duty refinishing.All told, I'm very satisfied with the product and delivery, but I've owned a Coaster set before and knew what I was getting.
