I really like the look of this night stand. I bought it to store my hair tools and extra makeup, etc. This was fairly easy to put together, it probably took me about an hour. However, I used wood glue (which was not provided) to ensure it stays together. Typical boxed furniture particle board with a nice wood veneer. It is actually a pretty heavy piece once all together. I was impressed with the drawer slide outs, they are very nicely made and the drawer is sturdy, no rocking when sliding in or out. I was disappointed with the hardware (both feet and handles) being plastic (which is why I didn't give this 5 stars) but I think they should hold up for a while. Worst case scenario I could likely find handle replacements, the pre-drilled holes seem standard size.
