Red looks just like picture. It's bonded leather that looks expensive and well made and the perfect color for my red fabric sectional. The hinged compartment that allow it to open is sturdy and easy to open and close. The inside of this compartment is lined and constructed well. Just right size for propping my feet up. It's cushy and padded, but a little hard just to sit on, but not uncomfortable. Besides, I'm not using it as a seat. It's fairly lightweight but not flimsy. I can move it into position by just pushing with my feet. I considered putting casters on the legs to make it easier to move, but after thinking it through, it would probably roll too much. I recommend this product, you won't be sorry. I can't tell you if all colors are just as pictured, but the red is just right.
