I've only had them for a couple of hours. I like them so far. If that changes, I will definitely update the review and I will probably update the review after winter regardless. Right now on 12/3/21, 1,200 gm of Thinsulate is overkill. Between the boots and the wool socks I'm wearing, my feet are toasty right now. If they were much toastier, it would be uncomfortable. I got them for $89 on Cyber Monday. That seems like an awesome price for what they are. I can't lose at that price.Yeah, they're made in China but I couldn't find the boot I wanted that was made in America. The closest non-Chinese manufactured boot that I could find that was anywhere close to what I wanted was an Italian Sawtooth boot for like $489 which I was prepared to buy but it didn't come in a 14 wide.I measured my foot length and width and came up with 11 3/4" L x 4.5"W and ordered a 14W. With a moderately thick pair of wool socks, they fit close to perfectly. I would have liked to have tried a 13.5W but it wasn't available and this is a common problem for me. With the socks, the fit is close to perfect. They could be a little tighter I think but I wouldn't return them when they're this close. I will probably put in a Dr. Scholl's insert of some kind however to tighten them up a bit and ensure there is adequate arch support. I feel like arch support may be lacking a bit but it's too soon to say. It's nothing that would prompt a return however and I'd have to really go out and road march for some miles with these to definitively state that the arch support is lacking and that isn't going to happen any time soon. The toebox is, again, maybe just a hair too roomy. The tread is super aggressive. I love it.Construction seems good but it's way too soon to pass judgement there. I will edit this if they fall apart. the boots they're replacing are easily 10 years old and still perfectly serviceable and were probably not made in America either. I fully expect 10 years of light to moderate use out of these.Weight: . I tried weighing them on the bathroom scales and I repeatedly got 2.4-2.6 lbs. I got 5.6 when I weighed them together. They ain't tennis shoes.Stitching: 80% double stitched with no obvious flaws. Double stitched where it needs to be.What I don't like: I wish they could be zipped up. I will be looking for some kind of zipper solution. I think the insole may be a bit...cheap. I'm going to put an insert in them as I stated which will probably run about $20. I'm not even going to take a chance on getting plantar fasciitis from a bad insole. Both of these things are barely worth mentioning and will not detract from the 5 stars that I am presently giving to these boots.Bottom line: These boots kick butt. Take note American boot manufacturers.
