I worked for a time as a mechanic on trucks and changed tires with the old tire levers. That is a job for at least two people. I gut this kit after seeing the video online and it works very well. I was able to change the tires on my Motor-home by myself. That's 235/80 on a 22.5" rim. I am impressed with the tool design.I cannot speak to the durability as i have not used it much. I assume that these low cost vesions may be more prone to the castings breaking as apposed to the $300-500 versions available through tire supply places, but so far I am impressed.Hardware was missing upon arrival and the casting is horrible. Some work with an angle grinder and some paint is a must.Nothing I like itThe Flat mounting piece missing wasn't in the boxI'm sure it's my inexperience with this demount and mounting tools. But they seem to be awkward to use. I've tried to use them 4 times and I can't seem to get itCould not believe ho weasy it made changing truck tires. NO JOKE could take a tire off and put one on in 5 minutes with these tools. Well made, will handle the force a normal human can put on them.Clever design. Couldn’t have pulled my 19.5” tire off without it. But only one 1 of the 2 roller hooks fit between tire and 19.5” wheel on far side bead. Still worked good with a little practice and patience.Tried to change out some 285/35R22, but did not have any luck. Couldn't get the tool inserted all the way even with lots of lube. Seems like sidewall height plays a big roll in this. Tool feels solid just didn't work for my application.I used on 22.5 steel rims worked great an quick removal in timely matter on aluminum 22.5 rims it would scratch rims end up using rag to cover end to protect rims and it would cut rag in like a knife cut it & take 2- 3 times longer then changing a steel rim. Believe the problem it is a a rougher metal at the bottom not like the authentic golden buddy tire bar so thinking might try sand all the rough metal down and see if that fixes problem.The product looks ok but the package looks like it was someone’s old returned item, box arrived ripped open with the styrofoam all shredded and the bolts to put the bars together were missing.Takes a bit to get used to but does what it’s supposed to doBest tool I ever bought for being a small guy changing heavy truck tires, saves alot of time and back painWorks fine better than the old bars ?
