I’ve ordered a ton of rugs in my life (cats, so cute but also barfy) and this one is much nicer than ones I’ve spent 3-4x on! I took a chance as there were no reviews and was v pleasantly surprised to see:1) colors are exactly as illustrated. I ordered the “gray” which is a cool, slate blue gray. It is offset by a creamy white, light camel tan, and a lovely light pink. The knotted tassels on the end are all tightly knotted and thick, none are coming off.2)texture is SO SOFT. So plush. My grandparents had some really nice shag carpeting that I remember being amazing to nap on in the 30 years since I saw it, and this is just like that. It is really dense, and a pretty high pile. I’m literally laying on my wooden floor with just this rug (no pad) and I’m totally comfortable. There are some sections in the pattern where the rug doesn’t have the nap cut, so it looks like Berber carpeting. It’s a nice variation in the design.3) price is seriously so good for what this is. I got the 5x7.4) shipping was speedy and well wrapped, tightly rolled in plastic.Only con:1) it smells like new carpet (which I also hadn’t smelled in years). The kind of plasticy, kind of chemicaly odor that really only comes on carpet. I live in an apartment so couldn’t air it out anywhere, so it took maybe 2 weeks for the smell to dissipate. It was strong in the beginning — but if you have the ability to air outside you’d be able to resolve it in a few days I’d think.Final thoughts:The pros far far exceed the con, I totally would get this again. Highly recommend and now I’ll for sure look at other rugs made by this company. Highly recommend, get this!
