Benjara Brown Wooden Nightstand with 3 Drawers & Metal Knobs - Bedside Table for Bedroom, Living Room, or Office Storage

I purchased this cabinet which I use as end tables, from Giantex (although it came from Costway who sell it for the same price) for less than half the cost of the Benjara (which probably won't come from Benjara, nothing I've brought from them ever has). It's sold under a number of names and available in different finishes. The only difference between the expensive names and the cost cutters is the hardware, round (expensive) or oval (which actually look better). I turned the oval vertical but move the knobs out, they have little spikes and I scratched the brittle varnish. Touched it up will brown leather stain, worked fine. Keep some on hand. At Giantex I gave it 4 stars because the quality was above average for the price but 3 stars at this price and that's generous. It looks better than it's made. The front is bland rubberwood, the top and sides stained mdf (despite claims of wood) and the back PU contact vinyl! It has to be placed near a wall. Glory sells a 28"H version which does have a wood veneered top and sides for the same price as here, the drawers are bigger but it's not as well proportioned. There are only two drawers which open ok, the top is a writing board. Go for expresso or painted, you don't notice the mdf as much as with lighter finishes but you still know. Some people aren't comfortable with cost cutters and go for the higher price. Service will be better and there are many complaints about being damaged, check reviews with other sellers. Acme sells the most. One did come with a slightly dented rear corner, at the price I paid nothing to worry about and these are very handsome indeed.
