These chairs are sturdy once assembled, and the price was great. The three stars are for price (set of two for $150), otherwise I'd rate them two stars. I wanted a set of six chairs, so ordered three boxes. Of these three, two boxes each had a chair with defects that prevented assembly. Returned a set with these two defective chairs and ordered a replacement. As luck would have it, I somehow ended up with two replacement sets, which was a good thing. Each of these sets also had only one good chair! So, it took 10 chairs to actually get 6 decent chairs. Almost all chairs have a little dink somewhere, and the finish colors weren't consistent from set to set, some dark and some lighter. So even my final set of 6 don't match perfectly if you look closely.
