I purchased a "open-style" desk, Top and Legs only to avoid the bulky desk-look. However, that meant no desk drawers. I spent a few hours of online shopping, Staples, Office Depot, Wayfair, FB Marketplace, eBay, Amazon, WalMart, et al. Amazon was the best bang for the buck for style, color, size, and free Prime delivery. Tools: You supply the #3 Phillips screw driver (don't use an Impact Driver), and a mallet. The actual cabinet assembly was easy, and feels solid. The five (5) drawers are easy to assemble, but takes the majority of your time (60 mins??), but it's well worth it. Money and time well spent. Next, desk drawer organizers.Bought a Bush shell desk and didn't want to spend $350 to add a couple of drawers. I thought the storm gray color would be hard to match, so was hopeful when I came across this. It's a good match, and I appreciate having five small drawers instead of larger file drawers.It's not great quality. I can live with it, but the top just lifts off and there are cups in the veneer in several inconspicuous places. And the materials feel cheap, even for this kind of furniture. I was concerned several times during construction that the wood was going to split as I fastened things.After reading the other reviews, I feel I should mention all of the shelves are true and fit and slide properly in the cabinet.It's a 5 draw rolling cabinet that fits under a desk or table. Was easy to assembly, took some time as there were a fair amount of pieces to assembly, but everything fit together very well and instructions were good.I didn't give it 5 stars as one of the draws rubbed a little on the top of the cabinet. I switched a couple of the draws around to find one that fit better. Other than that no issuesEdit:I bought a second unit, this one not as happy with a first one. Had same issue with top draw rubbing, but what concerned me more was how scuffed up many of the panels were, not really scratched, more just like scuff marks. Both units too were very dirty, likely dust generated during manufacturing, but due to static charge buildup, was very hard to remove dust and dirt.If you're using it as an under desk unit, you don't see much of it other than front so for price, overall still not a bad unit, but they really should do a better job of keeping panels cleanThe positives: once assembled, its sturdy and furniture-like. The drawers open and click closing mechanisms are first rate. Convenient configured drawer sizes. Very nice addition to home office or anywhere. The negs: a bit spendy, but the quality is there so the value is there. Way better than Ikea stuff. But a beast to assemble! Nuff' said. If you are not handy, hire someone to put it together. Took a full day for the hubs and he's as handy as it gets.Needed some drawer units for “MEGADESK” and the ones I wanted from IKEA are NEVER available. These worked in a pinch however of the 4 I bought, one of them didn’t go together square because the pre-drilled holes and slots weren’t lined up properly. The drawers in that particular unit rub together when they open and close, and I am afraid they are going to wear out really fast. I should have just replaced the unit but we were under a tight deadline and shipping took too long to wait.Someone mentioned these were better than ikea— they are not! So I wish they were a little cheaper than IKEA— they are not! Could have been better value if they were just $15 cheaper but overall, sturdy little unit that worked well for what we needed.Good product, exactly as described, and a good value. I purchased this item to complete my IKEA Alex and Billy set for my office. It was easy to assemble but there was some damage to the product but it did not prevent me from using the item for my specific purpose. It arrived quickly. The packaging left a bit of debris so it required some cleaning before use. I did not contact the seller about this issue. I would order this item from this seller again.I wanted to buy the dame drawer from Ikea, however they are always out of stock and if purchased online delivery fee is the same price as the drawer, found this similar one and I am loving it.The drawers do not all line up, some drawer faces stick out further than others. The face of the drawers also aren't even parallel, each drawer face is tilted up or down, which you can see from the side. Best part is when I went to put in the top drawer, it literally hit the top of the cabinet and wouldn't close. I had to shuffle the drawers around until I found a drawer that would fit in the top. I found one that slightly bumped the top but still slid in.The drawer slides also feel cheap. That said it works and from a distance look alright, but only buy if it's your only option.
