Right out of the box the hardware wasn't the correct size. I had to look through my garage to find a nut that fit the bolts. Also the ball bearings from the drawer rails were falling out , the drawer has to be pulled out with two hands so it doesn't get stuck. One piece of the wood on the drawer was broken off . Poor quality for what they sell it for. I didn't bother to try to put it all back in the box and return it ,what a disappointment. I bought this for my 8 year old daughter that loves to draw. I will not recommend this item unless it cost $50 not $200I was looking at some of the reviews and it seems like a lot of people were posting a review for the glass topped version of this desk on to this full wood-topped products page [it's a completely different product]. I bought this desk for my niece; at first when I was setting it up I was a little worried about the quality of the desk, but once it was all pieced together tight, it definitely felt sturdy. It only took me about 30 minutes to set it up as the instructions are pretty easy to follow (I'm not very handy), it'd probably take half the time with 2 people. If there are parts missing or damaged, all you need to do is call the manufacturer and they'll send you what you need [they send their number along with the instructions in the package]. The legs weren't wobbly and if screwed on correctly, there's not reason that the table-top should be flimsy or shaky at all. My niece is an artist and loves using this desk to draw on, often also just does her homework on it too. The only thing that seemed of cheap quality, for me, was the drawer; but even that wasn't to bad. Overall it's a pretty decent product for a pretty reasonable price. It is a good looking desk don't get me wrong, I also didn't experience as issues putting it together but that may be because I had the tools to properly do it with minimal effort. I was very sad to read "Solid Wood Frame and Legs" and think the top would be wood too. It is particle board with veneer. That's my only concern, also the brackets that how the desk seem weak with small screws but I went with it and haven't had a problem thus far. The drawer slides nice and has pretty good storage. It's not very wobbly, but it's on carpet so that may be why. Overall not a bad buy, I bought mine in the 100's not the 200's. I think 241, or whatever it fluctuates to is too much for this desk.Used the desk for mostly watercolor painting. Good height. I like the table but the surface is a little small for all the stuff I need to have available while doing watercolor painting. Our family's main artist was super excited about this desk since it had a solid wood top (the one we saw at a local art supply store had it with a glass top). He uses it every day for class as well as his art projects.Top desk arrived scratched (probably about 5") right in the middle of the desk - but not worth sending back. Overall design and sturdiness seems good. Just annoying to unbox the desk to find a large scratch despite that the box was not damaged in that area. The wood is relatively soft and if you have kids that write hard on the surface, I'm sure it will dent with that pressure. Would need something to protect the surface if you want to have it remain pristine.Set up was easy with sufficiently clear directions to get it set up without difficulty. You'll need some basic tools (like Philipps head screw driver), but all the hole were pre-drilled.The table was well packed and arrived without a scratch. The assembly guide was simple, screws were labeled and it took 10 to 15 minutes to put it together. The wood finish is very pleasant and the table looks as nice as on the photos. It is not a table you should stand on, and you'll have to be gentle and careful when you assemble the top until it is secured with the hardware. Also, make sure that when you assemble the back board, the pre drilled wholes are facing up. For the drawer, place in rails and push hard to secure it.The table looks classy and is very sturdy. The drawer is so thoughtful and useful, I don't think I can ever go back to a drafting table that doesn't have one! However, the surface came with a deep scratch upon arrival, one that obstructs drawing or writing. This is detrimental to a table! I didn't ask the seller to send me a new one I had constructed it already and it would be too much of a hassle, but this still needs to be said. Just make sure to check the surface first before you construct it...Pour les dessins de table c’est correct, déposer un café bien chaud, bien sûr le plateau à plat, placer son radio portable, mettre un livre et serrer des pinceaux c’est L’idéal. J’aime cette table d’accompagnement. It shakes when you want to coulour sth. Not very stable legs.Easy to put together, exactly what I was expecting for the price!
