The box came torn and screws fell out of one the the hardware bags. Had to find a couple new screws but after the inconvenience the rockers rails went on easily, just make sure to put the front of the rails on the front of the chair, not the back. It is a heavy woven plastic material and not reed wicker. The arms have a little give and are a bit more flexible than real wicker, that could be a good thing as wicker tends to crack. Not sure how long they will last but the seats have metal reinforcement for heavier folks. The black color looks nice on my redwood deck and they are very comfy to rock. I'm only 5'2'' and they fit me well so I imagine they are not suitable for anyone tall. The generous seat space accommodates wider hips and as a 64 year old grandmother that is exactly what I want for sitting outside and relaxing.
