Yes it works for what you need it to. I have a 4 yr old currently using this and it works fine. The back net is ideal for safety so that’s one of the reason I went with this.It’s fairly easy for my child to push around too. (Furniture felts are a must)My only issue is that there are numerous cracks all over. It was this way when I first received it. I wasn’t sure how it was going to hold up but so far, almost 6months in, there’s no new cracks and it works fine.I think for the price, I’m overall satisfied since other brands are much more costly in comparison.This stool is such in a good value, and my daughter used this stool and be my kitchen helper. It is very stable, and has a screen for protection, very friendly to the little kid. I do not need to worry about she falling off.This stool does not have strong smell, does not smell poison as a product I returned in the past. Very good product and very good value!This is the second one I bought. I want to keep one upstairs and one more in the kitchen. The quality of the product is pretty ok and cheap. I shopped around but some prices are really high. I suggest that most toddler should have one so they can stand on the step stool watching parents do some work over the counter or in the sink instead of holding them by arms.I ordered the same product a year ago and the height is just under 34 inches. This is almost 35.5 inches high. No longer tucks under my island. Inaccurate dimensions and description. Be aware. Very disappointing that the sizing changed…Had this for over a week, love it, easy assemble, and pretty sturdy. Work perfectly for our two year old who loves to get involved when we were baking. We didn’t get the net install, this way she can get on and off by herself, but you still need to put your eye on them. And another great part of this product is its adjustable for kids with different heights. And they have great customer services too, the package came with missing screws, seller was able to send us the missing screws after we have contacted them. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to whoever needs this.My baby girl likes the learning tower very much. She uses it to wash hands and brush teeth everyday. She can get in and out on her own. The learning tower is sturdy, safe and easy to assemble. It is very helpful for my daughter to perform daily routines independently.Love the end result and so does my toddler.Disappointed in how the holes were made. The middle shelf to stand on can’t be screwed in on one side because both holes don’t align with the side shelves. Also one of the bottom support shelves cracked as soon as I tightened the screws.Wish I could receive a new support shelf and a new stand on shelf with the right aligned holes to feel safe.All together it’s a good item but for the price I shouldn’t have these issues.This may be a one-off situation, so take this with a grain of salt, I guess.I primarily purchased this over other options because the advertised safety net seemed like a more robust solution than a couple widely spaced bars across the back or DIY solutions involving bungee cords woven through cutouts on the stool. Unfortunately, the safety net mentioned in the product description, featured in the product images and noted in the assembly instructions/parts list was not packed in with the step stool I purchased. I couldn't find any contact information for the manufacturer to get parts and since this was a critical feature, I decided to return it.The overall construction of the stool parts seemed fine, but I didn't actually assemble it to see how things fit together - I don't see why it wouldn't have been sturdy. There were a couple chips/blemishes in the finish (on corners/edges), but that's to be expected considering the number of trucks, planes, and ships this thing may have been shuffled between.If you're not planning on using the safety net, it will probably be fine for you; however, if you're planning to use the net to keep your child from accidentally ducking under the top bar and backing/falling off of the stool, be prepared to return it in case it isn't packed in.
