The Caliper is designed for jobsite comfort and safety. The full-grain leather upper is strong and durable, but soft enough to wear right out of the box. The aluminum safety toe is ASTM F2413-18 I/75 C/75 EH certified for impact, compression, and electrical hazards. The boot is constructed with a Dual Layer Comfort Footbed, cushioning underfoot to give you maximum comfort from clock-in to clock-out, and the oil- and slip-resistant heel outsole offers versatile indoor/outdoor traction.

I have worn various Danner boots for over 40 years and have never been disappointed. These, while not made in the US, seem to be holding up well after a couple of months. The protective toe is a nice plus and does not seem to add a lot of weight. Danner rocks.
