Sorry to say the other reviews are correct - these do run small. I reliably wear a M in Alo and Beyond Yoga tights, a 6 in Oiselle, and a S in Athleta. I ordered a M in these and they aren't comfortable. Too tight in the waist and upper thigh. The material is really nice, I like the mesh detail on the lower legs, and the chamois is very comfortable. But the fit is definitely off.Padding bulky. The mesh at ankles had holes within one use. Do not recommend.These are a beautiful color and I love the length. But definitely go up a size. Sizes listed run small. I own other PI tights but the sizing was normal on them. Not these, be sure to order up!I purchased 3 pairs of Pearl Izumi Sugar Crops and all three are fraying at the junction of the mesh and the fabric itself. I have worn Pearl Izumi cycling clothes for years and this is not acceptable. I sent an email to Pearl Izumi and they responded by saying their website is in the process of migrating to a new site. However, I thought I was buying a pair of 3/4 length cropped trousers based on the picture. Haven't sent them back as I can wear under non-padded leggings. Just be aware that if you buy them, you may be purchasing shorty shorts!
