Decided after 18 years with 1" white mosaic with white grout that I would use an epoxy grout with river rock. Visited Home Depot in Texarkana told Shirley what we were doing.. Shirley said "This Fusion Pro is the best grout product available". I informed contractor to find out about this product, because the installation was different. Contractor removes old floor and installs new. I did my research, yes too late. Contractor said this was his first and only time to use this CRAP, we were going to use it on the back splash in the kitchen, NOT NOW. Noticed after 4 days it was still soft to the touch. Placed a fan in the shower for 3 days and night. Per recommendations, we filled in low spots where shrinkage occurred. 7 days and nights additional with fan to aid in curing. Still soft to the touch. Called Custom Building products to see if anything could save us from our fate, once again I did not research first. John with custom building products said "It will fail, you did not read that it can not exceed a 1/2" grout line, it may fail in 2 days and it may take a few months, but it will fail", this is only the highlights of a terrible conversation. Now I have read where the customer reviews of the rude customer service. I can assure you this is no understatement. That owning our mistake and seeing if more time and quite possibly a heat lamp to aid in curing would rescue us. NO. This product, only way I can describe it. Is not a grout substitute for wet environments. So I guess Custom Home Products must give bonuses to Unprofessional, rude, condescending reps, because John excels at it. Now time for another replacement floor after 21 days. Glad my life has only had 1 John, but maybe this will help you decide anything but Fusion Pro in platinum from Shirley in HOME DEPOT.
