These are great chairs and very comfortable! As other reviews mention, the swivel is very stiff -- probably meant for turning enough to exit without having to push back but if you are a fidgeter and expecting an easy swivel, you will be disappointed. I have to laugh at the various reviews that go from piece of cake to assemble to not so easy. It is true, the instructions are clear. The included tools are fairly dinky so if you have a 10 mm ratchet socket you will be much happier! And yes my husband broke out the forbidden power tools to finish tightening all of the many bolts, but he could put a maximum torque on it. Definitely attach the arms to the back of the chair before the seat base. We found the manufacturing tolerances were a bit sloppy so be prepared to thread the bolts into the holes before attaching anything to clean them out. In any case we love these chairs and whether it was easy or mildly difficult to assemble, they are worth the effort!
