Eco-Friendly Soy-Based Wood Stain - Rustic Brown 5 Gallon for Furniture, Decks & DIY Projects | Non-Toxic, Low VOC, Sustainable Wood Finish

I have procrastinated using this for 2 years and today I finally used this on my deck. After cleaning the Deck the wood use white and very dry looking. I pulled this out from storage and applied it with a paint pad made for applying stain to decking and it couldn't have been easier. the first few boards I tried it on I thought It looked too orange so I sprayed the area I stained with water from a hose and diluted it (I know, I know the wrong thing to do but I did it anyways) then I got a pail of water, applied the stain and then dipped my pad in water and thinned it out. Well it looked great, and the area I sprayed with water looked like it was too thin so I went back over it with more product. Believe it or not, it ended up looking great. My wood went untreated for 4 years in the Florida sun so it was drinking in this stuff is why I think it looked too dark (orangy) to me. I used the Light Cedar and will use this again. I really like the Eco-friendliness of this product AND made in the USA.
