Heavy and well built from what seems like fairly decent materials. I especially like that it's actual wood and doesn't have any cardboard parts. I LOVE that I didn't have to assemble it. What keeps this from being 5+ stars for me, is that the platforms are pretty small. Even my smallest cat doesn't fit comfortably on the top and her head and legs hang over. The bottom 2 levels are subsequently larger, but still too small for my medium size and bigger cats. My pirates (destructive little pillagers) will undoubtedly destroy this thing within record time and I'll have to replace it anyway, but I won't buy this one again. Had the manufacturer just made the platforms each a few inches bigger, I'd be a frequent repeat buyer.
