I am happily surprised. When I took these out of the box I was sure my foot would never go in. I was wrong.The leather is soft. No break in period needed. They look skinny but fit true to my wide feet.These are more a dress boot than the work boots I’ve been using for years. That means they are lighter and not the same sole that I’m used to but that is a personal preference not a problem with the boots.
