After a lot of searching, we ordered this fountain to replace an old one that could not be fixed. It is easy to assemble and light weight. Although I easily leveled it, I can see that there could be issues based on the construction. The vase does not lock into the base. It just sits there, so it can wobbly, depending on the excess casting material. So I shimmed it for a better fit. Based on other reviews that had issues with the finish pealing, we custom painted it and sealed it, so we will see how it lasts. We also extended the feed hose by a foot as it was too short to easily make the connection to the pump outlet. Much easier to remove and replace as needed. The base doesn't hold a lot of water, and in our area of 110 degree temperatures, it evaporates quickly. So we mount a fill hose directly to the base. Then barely open the valve to drip water into the sump on a continuous basis. Once adjusted it keeps the water levels where they should be. Once the issues are solved, it is a pretty nice fountain
