Have been using this blade off and on for a couple of years now. Craftsmanship is superb! Holds an edge and soed pretty much anything I ask. The only area this lacks is in the handle. For the size of the blade and what you could want to do with it, the handle is short and thinner than it should be. This is the biggest reason it never has been a go-to blade for me.Still I recommend this fro anyone wanting a smaller blade in this design.I have the TB-3 and purchased the small version for my 11 year old daughter. She was able to baton a 1/2" pine board and make a bow drill dowel and make it nice and round. She also carved a wand. I was surprised how easy the knife works on small jobs. Extremely light. This was an upgrade from a 3" fixed blade with blunt tip. Sharp out of the box. Saw worked well cutting a 2" piece of aspen. Pricey but worth the safety aspect of being small and lighter.Update: added photo of some projects. The photo with the bow drill has the T-3 and the smaller T-4 for comparison. Used the T-4 and small saw to make the kit.Delivered on time, sharp right out of the box, great companion knife, will go in my everyday bag.First off, the package took two weeks longer than expected, but that's a shipper error, not product. As for the knife, it's awesome. Since receiving it I have used it everyday for knick knack stuff, cut three walls worth of Sheetrock to size, slaughtered two meat goats, skinned them and broke them down, the whole while I have only needed to rebuff the edge a few times. Most of my other knives would have needed work on a stone by now. I love the sheath, the clip is actually strong, it attaches anywhere. By far, this is my best day in day out knife. I highly recommend it. But shop around. I paid about $100 for this knife and since then I have seen it in stores priced up to $250, so there is a wide spectrum of prices for this same product. I would say $100 was worth it for this knife, more seems silly, especially $250.Just came in today so have not put it through any test yet, but so far not too bad. Way over priced of course, but knew that going in. Going to run it as my EDC which I use alot so we will see in a few weeks if it holds up. I am know there are better knives for less money, but I really like Tom Brown Jr books and things so had to get one of his knives and this one was the least expensive and most practical for my use. Handle could be longer I have big hands so its a wee little thing. This knife and its bigger brothers have been proven over and over again. It will do everything a standard design small knife will plus a lot more. I highly recommend this little blade if and only if you are willing to put in the time to learn it.I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because it takes patience, an open mind and a willingness to learn to really appreciate this design. This knife is amazing! If you are expecting a small knife and looking for an EDC that's easy to conceal. This knife is a great choice. It feels solid all around you can feel how well made it is. It may be a bit pricey but well worth it. It came razor sharp and the kydex sheath it comes with isn't too bad. The sheath would be the only thing you might want to replace depending on your preference.TLDR; Buy this knife. But look at the dimensions of it so you know what your getting!I really respect Tops Knives and finally ordered one go my collection. Please read the dimensions closely. I mostly had my expectations set by the photos of the knife.Totally my fault for rushing through order the knife was half the size I had expected. It's a really well made little knife. Unfortunately I was expecting to receive a medium sized tool. The hard sheath is a head-scratcher. It mounts horizontally instead of the vertical designs of most other sheafs. It takes way too much effort to draw the blade from sheaf so you may end up pulling knife and sheath. You then have to grip the sheaf end with one had while using your other hand to yank out the blade.
