Let me first say that these chairs are stunning. They are sturdy, comfortable, and well-made. I shopped around - a few different retailers offer this chair, but Amazon had the best price that day. The chairs arrived fully-assembled and appeared to be adequately packaged. However, like other reviewers have mentioned, one of the chairs arrived damaged. The hind leg was cracked in half. Needless to say I was disappointed and anticipated that I might have difficulty getting a replacement. First I reached out to Amazon to let them know I didn’t want to initiate a return unless I absolutely had to because they were sold in pairs and only one of the two was damaged. The representative understood and reached out to the seller on my behalf to get the conversation started. All communication went thru the Amazon message center from there. The seller let me know they would have to reach out to the manufacturer for more info. Responses were very quick from all parties involved. I did have to provide a few pictures of the damaged chair and the packaging, which was easy enough, and they offered to send me a replacement within relatively short order. I have not received the replacement yet, but I have no reason to believe after this experience that they won’t come thru. I am more than satisfied with the customer service aspect of this transaction AND with the chairs I ordered.
