I purchased espresso for the purpose of using it on a walkway in a garden. The rug is not plush, but matted with a lot of the backing showing through. The plastic “blades” are also very shiny. I would not purchase again.We purchased this to place on our deck boards around our pool. It is under a canopy and we have a few chairs and end tables plus a picnic table under it. It is perfect for wet feet after coming out of the pool and to protect from the heat of the deck. It stays down all summer and we store it in the fall. It is a short plasticky astroturf kind of material but it is easy to hose off if a kid spills a soda or a dog makes a mess. We have been very happy with it.This mat has been a really nice addition for our RV camping trips. It is comfortable on your feet, has decent durability, and cleans up very easily. It has been through very strong rain storms and has performed well with draining away water and mud. The rubber backing helps keep it in place and adds some weight to manage wind even without staking it down. The mat rolls up nicely for storage.My only complaint would be the "shine" of the surface material. It looks a little tacky like it could be used as material for a prom dress. To me it has that "strip club" carpet shimmer but the wife is okay with it. I hope it dulls over time. Other than that, the color is good and we'd make this purchase again.we really liked the idea of having the rug to keep the dirt out of our RV but holy cow, what a pain to clean. what ever you lay this on will stick to the rubber backing. it's also so large that if it gets wet it weighs 100+ lbs.most of our camping is short three day runs so it is a huge pain to have to try and get it clean every time we use it.one last thing to consider....if its dirty you can't put it in your rv storage or it gets that all dirty as well...it's a mess no matter how you try it. at least it is for us. I did find a solution to carrying it while traveling and not getting everything else dirty. I added a rear bumper rack for my coolers and I put the rug on there... keeps it out of our RV storage.UPDATE: We've now had the rug in constant use for 6 months in a campground and it has help up surprisingly well. It is laying directly on the dirt and After 6 months it is just now beginning to show signs of wear. I've added an additional star for the product. For the cost and the fact it is designed for temp use, I'm pleased.Love this! Great size and weight! Went for 6 weeks in dirt rain and wind, held up perfectly, plus love the color!i have used this twice - i have a 45' motor home an this gives me a huge patio for long stays in campgrounds. I bought a smaller version of this same rug for shorter trips or just overnightingIt can be washed with a hose and the rear coating doesnt attract dirt or dried grass like a woven mat would. It matches my MH colors perfectly. Its a bit bulky but I roll it up and store in the basement in a box vertically. It fills the full height of the storage area under the chassis. But I have slideout trays so it comes within reach in a few seconds. so its footbring is about 2 x 2' on end an for 160 square feet of rug. can't beat that!I ordered this rug to use with my camper. The size of the rug is great but it is very thin and almost a plastic type material. When I looked at the close up it seemed more like outdoor carpet. It's not. Its very thin and not at all carpet like. We use this over gravel and I'm afraid my chairs will push thru the material. If I knew what this was like I would have ordered a different rug. It's okay but not at all what I was expecting.Extra big, but great quality and color. Matches our camper.Love this carpetMy 2nd oneAnd would recommend it to anyoneReally happy with this purchase.
