I was looking for a way to update the look of my dining room and these chairs were the answer. They came well packaged and were easy to assemble. For the price, you are not getting a solid wood chair. However, you are getting a great look for a very reasonable cost. I also found that the wood part is easy to touch up with a dark wood marker. My last dining room chairs had solid wood backs and a padded seat. I find these too be much more comfortable than my previous ones. Good design job Jonathan and Drew Scott. It's nice to have a little bit of your style in my home.
