It was time to replace our last iron door mat when a heavy piece of furniture was dropped on a corner and broke it. After searching Amazon for possible replacements, we settled on this one. It is attractive, well made, and heavy enough to stay put. The rubber feet on the backside are well positioned to disperse the weight when walking on it. And it can be easily tilted up with one hand to sweep out any detritus collected below.It can also be easily repainted if you want to customize the color to match your door or trim color. I like to tape off the outer 3" width and paint the inside section gold to jazz it up.
