Recently, I redid my guest bedroom. I removed a huge four poster bed and replaced it with a white metal platform bed. I needed a console table to set opposite the bed, and it had to be sufficiently long to support a 43” flat screen TV. I didn’t want a white table that would “match” the bed. I also did not want the table to overpower my new light and airy metal bed. I saw this table on Amazon and immediately ordered it. My sister was visiting when it arrived and I put her right to work. After unpacking the pieces, she and I, both in our 70s, assembled it in about 15 minutes. Instructions were simple and clear. Its drawers arrived already in tact so all we had to do was attach legs and shelves. All the holes lined up and all required hardware was included. This piece (with the exception of its two drawer frames and hardware) is constructed of real, reclaimed wood. I could barely believe that, for the price. And because it is made of reclaimed wood, expect color variations and a good amount of “natural” distressing. This table is not for someone who wants pristine pieces of wood. I use this table in a room with coastal vibes but it would be equally fitting with farmhouse decor. Its metal drawer pulls are simple and nice, and the entire piece is well made. Oh, and this table would easily support a television larger than my 43” model without looking burdened. I am confident it will bring enjoyment to my guests for years to come.
