The rug looked great under the small living room table. What I didn’t realize was that the latex backing was adhering to the new wood flooring. I peeled off the rug to find latex backing glued to the 2x 4 area it laid on. It took hours of meticulous scraping to remove the latex without damaging the wood floor.It is much much darker then pictured which actually worked out well , matches other dark colored area rugs that we have. Very firm. Well packed no damages when removing the plastic wrap. So if you are looking for a light brown then keep looking because this is a dark chocolate brownI love this purchase. I’m always anxious about buying carpets or mats for my apartment. I specifically bought this for the entrance in the stairway coming to my apartment. Color and texture is very important. The small piece has made a huge impact on what my hallway looks like. The brown but I chose brings in and learn brown inviting. I needed the structure to be more stern so as people come in and wipe their feet it’s wiping the bottom of their shoes. Not every engagement I need for people to takeoff their shoes as they come in to my apartment. After they leave this floor piece they immediately come into contact with my white tile floors. So buying this is very important. But I got tired of just using the black floor mats. I am very happy with this color very well-made not a strand out of line and just beautiful6 x 9, Maize - I just received this and can't comment on its longevity which is why I gave it 3 stars for durability. It rolled out great, no curled edges to deal with. The color is like a medium gold/yellow or ocher. It feels ok on the feet. I used this for layering of a stylized rug that was too small for the space. This rug extended the look of the rug nicely without costing too much. This is in a four-season sunroom and hoping the sun doesn't bleach out the color. I will try to update this review after using it for a while.Very durable rug. Good value for the money. Be aware that the colors shown in the photos for the brown rug aren't "true". The brown color appeared to be more reddish in the pictures. The rug I received was more of a cocoa or coffee brown color. Having said this, I still like the rug overall and it looks good in my kitchen. Would recommend.These(2) runners work perfect for me. Color of border is perfect match to rug field color, dark brown. They’re not objectionable to walk on in bare feet but I also have a pad underneath. I had to return 1 because there was a visible defect (discoloration) and received a replacement within a few days. As always, excellent service by Amazon.I’ve had them for approximately 1 month and there is still some rippling but I expect that in a natural fiber rug (I have 7 in my home).I think in time they will flatten out. Rippling is not a tripping problem.It's a nice area rug. I bought it for my foyer because it's a natural fiber and latex backed so it's tough and non slip. It is darker than I thought it would be....which is why I gave it 4 stars. I feel like the photo wasn't very true in depicting thes of brown. I know lighting and setting on phones differ but I just feel like its chocolate brown. LUCKILY it doesn't take away from my decor. If anything it's more assurance that it will not stain easily. It has a vinegar type smell that’s pretty strong at first but once aired outfit faded. If I have any issues in the future I will update this post. I don’t foresee myself regretting this purchase. I am pretty happy with it.The Safavieh products are the best. Through the past years we have always bought their brands.They are beautiful, well made, and affordable.Other than the totally misleading photos in the listing, this is a quality rug/mat that lays down well and appears well made. Unfortunately, it is very dark brown in color and we cannot use it where we needed it. We needed a sisal rug of the color pictured in the Amazon listing. Not sure what to do with it - wish that someone from Amazon would look after this issue and amend the listing and reach out and make this right for us.
