AFI Shaker Style Wooden Desk - Solid Brown Home Office Desk with Drawers, Perfect for Study, Work & Home Office Use

I love this simple desk. The single draw with the simple divisions in the front is easy to use and makes a big difference with organization of rulers, address book, scissors, pencils, pens, etc. I love how softly the drawer closes. you don't hear a sound when it closes except the soft shifting of the side brackets.The color is great with the cherry wood. The top is smooth and easy to write on, even if just a single sheet of paper. I like the surface area. It allows me to have my laptop, a book, and papers all on the top of the desk at one time.The only complaint I have is that upon arrival, there was a fairly noticable dent in one of the top corners. Luckily, it was a top corner where I could simply put my sticky note holder over the top of it and not even notice. I decided not to contact the seller as this was actually the second desk I had purchased that had been broken. Not the same desk, but after having to return a completely ruined desk and finding this one and only having a small dent, it was a fair price to pay in my books. I love the desk and later purchased the matching printer table and a file cabinet to complete the set. It's a great desk.It's a pretty, sturdy desk but arrived with scratches. I started the return process right away and ordered a replacement. I'm not happy with the return process, poor messaging response time and the fact that I can not get ahold of anyone on the customer care line. They're asking me to pay for return shipping ($499.99 to get it there in their timeframe) and they will inspect the desk and determine whether they will refund my money or not.Lovely desk but not worth the headache if you have an issue.I looked at so many much more expensive desks for an office nook in a bedroom area. Decided to take a chance on this one. So glad I did. It’s reasonable in price, a breeze to assemble, and looks great. Love the felt-lined drawer. Comfortable height. Delivered in record time, and in pristine condition. I’m very happy with this purchase.I love this table, the felted drawer is my favorite part about it. The finish is nice as well, but I might strip it and stain it black to match other furniture I own. I'll add before and after pics, if I decide to stain it.I love this desk and recommend it to all my friends. Before placing the order, I had concern about the drawer because I don't like those open drawer for key board only. Actually the drawer is a closed container, good for storing key board, but also for storing pens, notes, envelopes, labels, stamps and other office supplies.Love the solid wood material too.Well built and easy to assemble. Arrived in great shape. The price would be a lot higher if it was not made in Vietnam
