After a few expensive, and disappointing, experiments with other boots, I tried a pair of these and couldn't be more satisfied. I'm on my feet nearly eighteen hours a day most work days. These boots are comfortable - I feel like I'm walking on pillows; there is practically zero break-in period - comfortable from day one; and they resist the elements in the environments I'm in - a machine shop and a sheet metal shop. I have two pair that I alternate (so the inside of the boots dry) and have added a Dr. Scholls insole to provide further comfort and support. I wish the sole had more lug to it but that's just a personal preference; it doesn't affect the performance of the boots for my purposes.
