I was searching for dining room chairs on a budget and these fit the bill. Much less expensive than similar chairs sold individually. They were a breeze to put together and so far seem quite sturdy. They are well made, no major flaws to be found in any of the parts provided. The upholstered seat is a cream color. I plan to apply scotchguard to reduce the chance of staining from inevitable spills.I also own the matching glass top table, which is available on Amazon as well.And as a side note, SEI is very easy to deal with if you do have a problem. I bought a coat rack from them a while ago, and one piece did not fit properly. I only had to go to their website and fill out a simple form. A replacement part arrived on my doorstep a few days later. I buy a lot of assembly required products, and some of the manufacturers give you no way to contact them with a problem. Not so with SEI- phone number and website readily provided.
