Overall, there is nothing to dislike about this box. I bought this for my husband, who has many watches and wanted a place to store them. My personal requirement for the box was that it have an elegant appearance to match our bedroom decor, as this box was to sit on our dresser. I was more than pleased with the appearance! The ornate key is a working key and is not just for decoration; this is a detail I appreciate. Inside, there are many spaces for watches and the holders fit well with leather banded watches. My husband's only complaint was that his watches with metal bands did not securely attach to the holders, but it doesn't appear to be a major issue. Also, there is a noticeable chemical smell upon opening the box the first time. This smell did fade after one night when we left the box open and allowed the inner material to breathe.I truly love this box and will be buying another for my husband to keep in his closet. I wish Volta made one exactly like this especially for women's jewelry! Love it!
