I ordered this rug for our dining area in our kitchen, which has a wood floor. The rug's colors seem pretty true to the picture and it is a beautiful rug - very thick and soft - and makes the room cozier. I am really impressed with the quality of Safavieh, the price, and really like the rug. I also ordered a rug pad to keep it from slipping. I had a problem with a rug pad shifting and peaking out from my living room rug. So with this one, I turned the rug upside down and attached the pad by using carpet (double-sided) tape around the edges. It worked very well and also makes it much easier to move the rug, if needed, because the pad goes with it.
