These are possibly the most comfortable safety toe shoes I've ever worn. I realize every foot is different, but these are ridiculously light, has better support and shock absorption than some running shoes i've worn and have been 100% waterproof to the top so far. I work 12 hour rotating shifts in a pulp mill, average 16,000 steps a day on concrete, and climb a 186 foot digester. bought the 8" boots because I twisted my ankle 11 months ago and it still hurts. these do offer more ankle support than the 6" I was wearing before.
