Love these rattan armchairs! They are the perfect small occasional chair for our space...yes, cushions are very firm, but rather that than flimsy! They do soften gradually over use. I used scotchgard on them immediately since they are a cream cotton canvas. Chairs are comfortable, but not for long term sitting...wish the backs were higher, then they would be great for extended periods. Overall very pleased & pleasantly surprised.
