Acme Jayceon Rectangular Wooden Marble Top End Table - Champagne Brown Finish | Modern Side Table for Living Room, Bedroom & Office Decor

I bought this table because I liked the style (it seemed to have graceful lines with nice details that were not overdone) and it had a marble top with a particularly nice shape. I ordered one as a trial, with the hope of liking it enough to subsequently order a second and have a pair of these. However, after receiving this one, I was disappointed to see the marble top had two different seams between marble pieces that showed very distinct and noticeable (maybe 4”-6” long?) solid black lines that look like poorly fitted gaps that were then filled in, and these don’t blend in with—and definitely detract from—the appearance of the top overall. The rest of the marble top wasn’t like this, and these lines aren’t located where I expect a lamp will naturally cover them, so now I’m looking for a way to patch or repair them where they’ll (hopefully) not be so noticeable.In addition, there were some very small to medium-small areas of damage to the finish or surface on all four legs, though each was still wrapped up in its original shipping foam. How and where they were packed in the shipping box makes it unlikely that these could have been caused during shipping.All-in-all, I may eventually order a second table and hope for a better quality one but haven’t yet decided if it’s worth the risk.
