Thick rug! I have purchased several of these over the years! Good quality and wears well! This was a replacement for our entryway. 1 German Shepherd, 1 Rottweiler, 1 long haired cat, 2 teenagers plus their friends, snow, mud handles it all! Occasional spot steam needed , but again handles it. I love pottery barn wool rugs but NOT the price tag!!! It does shed the first week or two. Having wool rugs before I was prepared for the shedding. Great value for the quality and longevity of the rug!!!
