It's beautiful, so easy to put together (my 8 yr old helped me), feels pretty solid. The trundle is great just wish there was more clearance for a thicker mattress. My elderly parents came to town & I put the beds together. The trundle is sturdy & my parents said they slept well. Only used 1 time so far so time will tell how well it holds up but so far so good.
