I bought this bridle when I was trying to figure out a solution for my mare. I didn't want to spend hundreds on a figure 8 bridle and find that she didn't like it. It has definitely made my mare happier than any of my other bridles, so I have kept using it. The leather of course came stiff, but with a little oil and use it has softened right up and fits very well to her face.
