Men's Fin 38 Feather Wellington Boots Size 9 E US - Waterproof Brown Leather Work Boots for Outdoor, Farming & Construction

This is my 3rd pair of these boots - the originals were from when the company still made them in Wisconsin. The 2nd pair was Chinese manufacture and the leather not quite as good, the toe box narrower and more pointed. This 3rd pair is Chinese and has more supple and thinner leather than the 2nd pair, but the sole is more than 1/2" narrower at the widest point - even though i got an E instead of a D - and the toe is much more pointed. I just use them to knock about as the smooth soles don't capture yard debris - but i wouldn't attempt a long walk in them, the fit is just not right for a 9E. Keeping them anyway, better the devil you know...
