Oh boy. The directions are HORRIBLE. But! If you were fortunate enough to learn how to do minimal handy things, you gonna be just fine, honnnaaaay. Now, fair warning, the directions are literally just really bad pictures. Hahahahaha. It’s okay to cry. You’ll want to have a drill with a Phillips (the star shape) head, but also an Allen wrench head, needle nose pliers, and a hammer. I know. This seems strange, but trust. I put this together myself while listening to Shania Twain and not being the most sober person ever and it took me about 2 hours total. You can do this.Pros: Hides the pooper, looks stylish and mid century modern, good for litter-throwers, doubles as a chill spot, keeps the dog from eating the cat food, very heavy.Cons: This things was heavy as all get out! I live alone and I’ve got noodles for arms, so lugging it up to my apartment was not the most fun thing I’ve ever done. But I guess that’s why it’s also good thing. I had previously tried that lightweight 3M card board box hiding thing and it was so flimsy and terrible I tossed it almost immediately. This is quite heavy, feels sturdy.It’s really good at pretending to be actual wood? It is in fact that manufactured pressed particle board, but the heavier kind?Anyway, back to these tools ... you’re gonna need all of them.Photos for reference!Overall, it’s a nice box! I’ll update if it doesn’t hold up. If this review is still solid, so is the box. Because lemme tell you... if this thing breaks I’m gonna Karen/Becky it ALLLLLL up on this review.The cost is steep, but if it works out, it’s worth it!
