Ok, I'll start by saying it wasn't easy to spend money on pieces of furniture that you buy online. You never know if the quality is good, or faulty design or whatever, especially since returning heavy, bulky items like these bar stools isn't that simple. But, I hadn't found ANY others that I liked as well as these, (from the pictures anyway,) so I bit the bullet. Glad I did. Yes, it took a little while to actually assemble them, but it was worth the time and effort. Easy directions, by the way. I like the depth of the seat because it just adds a little more character, I think, and it adds to the quality look. I didn't think it would be 'soft' enough to be comfortable, but when you actually sit on them, you realize they really do have a comfortable feel to them. I read a review that said the legs were wobbly, but if you assemble these correctly, I can't see how they could wobble at all. The fabric is a bonded leather which I wasn't that crazy about, but leather will, by nature, wear anyway. So far, we are very, very pleased and I would have no hesitation to recommend them. If I were to change anything about them, I think a nice dark walnut color leg might be a better choice than the black finish. But the leather is dark enough that it blends really well.
