Product Description

The swiss halberd effectively combined the finest attributes of the spear, battle a XE and hook into one devastating weapon. It was able to Pierce the thickest steel Armor, and pulverize a sturdy helmet or shield. The halberd's "beak" could also be used to drag a heavily armored KNIGHT from his mount to be summarily Butchered by the halberd wielders brothers in arms. The Cold Steel swiss halberd is almost identical to its heavy duty historical counterpart, except that Cold Steel is made from modern materials. Featuring a fully sharpened spike, a XE blade and beak (hook) it is a multi-faceted weapon that can hack, stab or entangle even a heavily armed and armored opponent. It did not come as per the picture. I would not have bought this if I knew it was just the head part. That part was cool but what the hell am I going to do; throw it at someone? They offered $20 off of my next purchase but when I insisted I would just rather have the shaft and attachment pieces they got real quiet and just sent me a return label. I looked into getting one made. A proper one but I would have to engage the woodworkers guild and commission the handle which seems like a lot of work. Sizing, cutting, filing, shaping, and finishing a proper handle would probably cost more than the item as a one-off. The build quality is good but the inner flange shoulder is not properly smooth and "cut you" sharp. Overall not a bad seller besides the misrepresented product and lackluster resolution.
