¬ NOTE: for tansparency, this review is a copia/pastia from a another trench that is similar (and) I also bought this version as well previously, so the review content is justified.= = = = = = = = =~ this (best way) to describe this item, is that looks like it was made for a human-sized 12" figure, made with quality that's akin to a cheap Mexican knockoff that one would by from a - "tourist trap" - stall located near the border in El Paso..~ the item - as shown in the product photo - is not what you will receive, so don't get your hopes too high, in thinking that it's (similar) to the 1982 film version (because) it's not. ~ very far from it.~ the material is (very) paper thin, very flimsy and the colour is way off from the what its supposed to be (which is a russet brown) and not a lighter shade as shown.~ the details on the coat are (surprisingly correct) however sewn, with what looks to be a flimsy single stitch, which will more than likely come apart after some use.~ the MOST noticeable point is the collar, which doesn't have the unique deep ridges as in the film and the rest of the details are (poor representations) of what they should be.~ this (trench) overall is a poor quality representation from its film counterpart and in contrast, the trenchcoat on a 12" Deckard figure is more accurate with better detail, better colour (and) it's even thicker than this life-size version.~ BOTTOM LINE:~ if one wanted a very accurate version from the film, then one would have to be a member of the BR Propsummit forum, where a member named - "Rachel" - created and made a - "deadly accurate version" - of this iconic trenchcoat, which everyone scrambled to have one made from her talented hands and craftsmanship.~ (unfortunately) she is no longer available to make any trenches since she made her final one in 2007.~ So, save your money and - "try" - to find one that's closer to the film version.~ But be aware, that the (now defunct) version v002.pattrrn from Abbeyshot, that is floating around is now plagued by substandard Chinese copies and one will be tossing a coin to see what they will be getting when they order one.~ how do I know? - of course, I bought one . . .~ I say this because I am HUGH BR fan and very picky about any items details that are representative from (both) film versions. - 1982 and 2017 version.~ I have purchased ALL versions of this famous trench that are possibly/currently available for purchase (and) each has failed miserably for one reason or another. (Quality, colour mismatch, details completely wrong and material not as a representative as in the 1982 film).~ if you want an authentic looking Deckards trench, then go to the BR Propsummit forum, gather the details from that thread, (then) find a worthy talented tailor to recreate this iconic trench, as finding a worthy representation now is near-impossible to locate.
