We went to a ton of stores in our area to try out bar stools. Most of them felt really wobbly and light, just overall cheap feeling. Our last stop was a high end store which sells billiards tables, outdoor furniture, arcades and other things. They had tons of bar stools and we really liked how sturdy and attractive this chair was. At the store they wanted twice the price we paid on amazon for the exact same chair. In the store it was labeled the "Edy" and the sales person tried to scare me from the amazon one labeled "Pharaoh" saying it'd be cheaper quality and no warranty. However the shipping weight was the same as the Edy so I gave it a try and it's sure seems like the exact same chair just labeled "Pharoah". It just feels quality, so sturdy. Then the seating is very comfortable, it's cushion is nice and I really liked the short back support. It's enough to help support your back but unlike the many others we sat in with high backs it doesn't make you feel like you have to sit up really straight to be comfortable. We also loved the swivel action because when you put bar chairs under a countertop overhang I just find it a lot easier to "get out" by swiveling to the side first since your knees get trapped to a degree. Very simple to assemble just 4 screws. Overall great chairs that I'd highly recommend.
