Very happy with this coat. Water resistant. Lightweight for ease in packing. Light to wear, but the zip out lining keeps you warm. This will serve me well during my trip early next year to Paris and London. This coat was shipped efficiently from Great Britain. 5 Stars.This is a really nice coat - it really is. Nice material and feel and looks great on. BUT - the sizing is WAY out. I bought a small as I’d read the comments about sizing too big and it is. I’m 5’10” - slim but broad shoulders and chest and this coat buries me.It seems to have been made for people on the big/overweight side - even the small. It looked like a tent on me - I buttoned it up, pulled the front out and I could have packed it out with a load of big pillows quite easily, with the neck massive as well.Whoever makes this, if you read these comments, have a look at your sizing. UK men aren’t all overweight and portly. That, or someone is being generous in materials. Your small is really a large.Shame - because it’s a really nice made and feeling coat at a great price.I have the black version of this coat which I wear as a formal overcoat normally over a suit. I removed the padded liner long ago. It looks and feels like a premium quality item and I’ve had comments on how good it looks. The navy version is not really navy in my opinion. It’s a dark blue but not dark enough for what I would say is medium, hence I returned the navy coat.nice protection from the cold, excellent water protection, and it is not too heavy. I also like the fact that it is not made out of synthetic fibers, it is a mix of cotton with synthetic fibers...I actively looked for a coat that had cotton so I was sure it was more waterproof. I usually wear suits with a 38 inch chest measure, this was fine with and without suits.Now you're talking. A slightly ruffled mack - not too corporate and square - slightly 1950's (ish) that you can wear anywhere anytime! And well made and warm enough too. Detachable inner lining - Plus!The fit is generous- so not tight which allows freedom and is comfortable. The material is like a moleskin and feels soft and expensive.I got a navy one so its a good colour matching whatever else I'm wearing. A really good and well made coat. Very pleased with this one. Thanks!!Really Nice coat. Only issue with it is when trying to remove the inner liner / layer the zip got stuck so be careful when removing and putting back in. Other than that its a great coat. Looks really smart.
