The Commander X is the ultimate meat hauling frame. The lashing system incorporates a compressed wing system and a lower shelf to secure loads to the frame. The frame is comprised of dual aluminum stays with channeled high-density polyethylene frame. The Commander X carries all the features that make the ALPS Extreme line a step above the rest, like an adjustable molded foam suspension, tough 1680D ballistic nylon fabric, and Hypalon to add strength to stress points. Primary use is hunting whitetail deer in the mountains of the northeast. Has enabled me to hunt deeper in the woods without the worry of long and cumbersome drags after getting a deer. Multiple hour drags are a thing of the past. Adjustable back plate enables you to fit as needed. Plenty of straps for additional clothes, raingear or equipment. Even packed with a fully quartered deer the walk out of the ridges is effortless. Have used for 3 seasons and packed out 3 quartered deer comfortably. Pockets on hip belts are large and pack is sturdy and well made. Would highly recommend without hesitation.
