I absolutely love my new hat from American Hat Makers. It’s awesome and I get so many compliments. I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I could just go on and on about it. It’s an extremely well made hat. You can tell there’s some quality handmade craftsmanship in these. And the leather is super nice -and rugged. Doesn’t get more American than this. The hat is substantial.It just fits perfect too. And also awesome that it comes with some interchangeable sizer pads, incase I ever wanted to adjust the fitting. So if I ever cut my hair short again, I could just swap pads for a better fit. The whole box and presentation it came in was a nice touch too -very well protected. Came in faster than expected too.My favorite part about this hat is that it’s much more dynamic than a typical cowboy hat. It can fit in pretty much anywhere. It’s kind of a cross between a western and a general purpose leather outdoorsman hat. Built tough for camping or hard work, but also fashionable for dinner and a date. Like a good pair of jeans or boots. Just as good on a hot sunny day as it is on a cold chilly day. It’s quickly become one of the favorite things I own.I live in southern California and the name of this hat couldn’t be more fitting.. I could wear this to the beach in San Diego, hiking in the Sierras, wine tasting in Napa, horseback riding in Mexico, or to some trendy bars in LA. It’s ready to go wherever I am -and always making waves wherever I wear it. I can’t even help myself. It kinda just makes things more fun when wearing it.
