This is a spectacular heavy suede-type leather jacket. Its SUPPOSED to be heavy, and it would be a bad thing if it were not. Made by ALLSTATE leather who makes old-school motorcycle jackets. Similar to Protech brand motorcycle jackets, surprising quality for low prices. Anyhow, back to the jacket itself...out of the box it strikes you as a quality no-nonsense garment. Very warm.Sizes are as others have stated. If you wear in XL order 3XL especially if you want to put some mc armor under it. Its cut like an old-fashioned jacket, which it is! Western folk were generally thin. I'm large at 230 pounds and 38 waist. 2XL would fit me, but tightly. 3X is roomy and large, but not too large for me.This jacket's design is very true to old, old design, almost medieval, so this would work as a Renn Faire jacket that's totally not costume-like as are many of the $1,000+ 'medieval' leather goods. I mean, some of the costume stuff is quite good and justifies the price to a degree, however, this one is a working old-time jacket coat!
